CROSSWORD PUZZLE FRIDAY: Everything 2024

Who doesn't love puzzling?

As part of a new weekly installment for my blog, I will release handcrafted crossword puzzles. I'm hoping to improve my crossword puzzle-making skills (because when trying to create the one below, I realized it was wayyyy harder than it looks). I was inspired by Ada Nicolle of Luckystreak Xwords, whose collection "A-to-Gen Z Crosswords: 72 Puzzles that Hit Different" made me realize that crosswords can be fun and young and current (they're not just an activity for people who are retired)!

So every Friday, I will be publishing a crossword! Mostly for my own entertainment because they're a lot to fun to make. However, if you have fun trying it out (and are looking to try out more), please comment below!

EVERYTHING 2024: PUZZLE #1 (THEMED)

Hopefully, it's not too hard - I will improve with each crossword I make. There are so many techniques for making a crossword that I wasn't even aware of. There's symmetry and creating enough words to make it easy enough for solvers. My friend was like, "it's sort of like a game of Scrabble", and that's pretty accurate.
